I incorporate the use of subconscious reprogramming (age regression) with traditional hypnotherapy. What this means is I pull the weeds from the garden before I plant new seeds, as opposed to just planting new seeds.
When the conscious and the subconscious minds are aligned with true and correct principles, we reach our goals faster with lasting change. Our garden then flourishes.
The sessions are highly advanced and customized for individual needs.
Hypnosis is a proven methodology for communicating with the subconscious mind, which is the root of all our emotional behavior.
The hypnotherapist will assist the client in finding the distortions and communicate with the deeper layers of the subconscious mind and reprogram the desired beliefs. When these beliefs are replaced we can get the amazing results we desire.
William James, a pioneering American psychologist and philosopher, wrote, “The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”
The first intake session last about 90 minutes. The hypnotherapist will get to know the client, their concerns, needs, and questions are addressed. Core problems will be identified and the end goals targeted. The client will get a better understanding of how the mind works, and what can be expected from a session. Once everyone is comfortable, the work will begin.
During a session, the hypnotherapist will decide the best way to work with the client. This may be done through relaxation, amplifying the emotions, or through imagery. This allows the hypnotherapist to communicate easily with the unconscious mind. The client and the hypnotherapist work in open dialogue throughout this entire process.
The client is aware of their environment and is in full control. This process happens so naturally that the client may be unaware they are even hypnotized.
Most clients universally report that once core beliefs are cleared there is a profound sense of relief and an empowering feeling of optimism.
Absolutely! Modern hypnosis, delivered by a qualified professional is completely safe comfortable and beneficial.
We already know what it feels like, because we feel it daily. We feel this hypnotic state when watching TV, becoming swept up in a movie. Many of us become hypnotized while driving. Often this is manifested while daydreaming and we miss our exit and realize it two or three exits later. During the entire driving period we are safe and in full control.
It’s also important to note that hypnotherapy is completely voluntary. No one can be hypnotized against our will or consent.
Hypnotherapy does work!
The 2006 Survey of Psychotherapy Literature by Alfred A. Barrios, PhD., and Clinical Psychologist (UCLA) revealed the following recovery rates for different treatment options:
- Psychoanalysis: 38% recovery rate after 600 sessions
- Behavior Therapy: 72% recovery rate after 22 sessions
- Hypnotherapy: 93% after 6 sessions
As we can see, hypnotherapy works exceptionally well when compared to other therapies.
Hypnotherapy will work if you desire it to work and are willing. In some cases we may need to be patient. Our subconscious mind may feel unsafe or fearful of new things. Once trust is established, our desired results can take place.
Hypnotherapy is helpful anytime we want to make positive changes in our lives. It can be used to deal with simple habitual problems like smoking, drinking and overeating, to more complex psychological issues.
It can help with health concerns, pain management, sexual dysfunction, childbirth and other discomforts. Hypnotherapy is an amazing tool for increasing confidence and performance with hypnosis, particularly in sports, competition and test-taking. It increases security and happiness, opens the heart to find love, improves our self-esteem, enhances clarity, focus and more.
Children are the best candidates for hypnotherapy.
As we grow older, we can lose the imagination and creativity that comes naturally in our youth. Children can easily immerse themselves in the imagery and imagination of the hypnotherapy process. The hypnotherapist uses age-appropriate guided visualizations to fully engage young clients.
Hypnotherapy for children uses metaphors, stories, games and play to communicate with the subconscious mind. Some of the most common issues that children are seen for are; anxiety, learning challenges, confidence, bed-wetting, thumb-sucking, divorce and behavioral issues.
In most cases, results tend to be immediate. Many clients find that one to two sessions are sufficient to achieve their goals. Others with more challenging matters, more sessions are necessary. Many clients come weekly until inappropriate behaviors are stabilized, and then they have follow-up sessions when needed. Others come regularly to continue their growth.
Each person and situation is unique and the results depend on many factors. Unconscious willingness is the biggest factor. Some problems tend to be more complex and the untangling process takes more sessions.
Hypnosis is safe and completely natural. We go in and out of hypnosis several times a day at varying levels. Even at the deepest levels we are safe, comfortable, and secure.
We are in control at all times, aware of what is happening around us and conscious of where we are physically. Hypnosis works with our will; we can only be encouraged to do what we want to do. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis.
It’s also important to note that hypnotherapy is completely voluntary. Again, no one can be hypnotized against their will or consent.
Yes. We offer group sessions for businesses, clubs, friends, couples, and families. Group sessions generally last about 2 hours with the first 30 minutes being used to coordinate and explain important details to the group. The ideal setting for group sessions is a calm and quiet location.
In family work, we work with the parents and children individually, as well as together. The hypnotherapist helps guide family members through the process while supporting one another, and healing the family as a whole.
In couples work, the relationship is a dance both partners are participating in and it is necessary to work with the relationship together as well as individually. As each partner changes, the relationship changes. The relationships are strengthened and communication improves as each clear up the blocks that have kept them from dancing in harmony.
Yes. Phone and webcam sessions are a good solution for those living long distances, or who, for any reason, are unable to come into the office. To participate in this type of session, we will need a calm and quiet place and a good phone or internet connection. Instead of being interrupted, we strongly recommend dog care and babysitting arrangements be made prior to the session. First sessions last about two hours. Following sessions are approximately one and a half hours.
These sessions are very convenient as well as comfortable because we have the option of having them in the luxury of our own home.
